Welcome to Jack’s media page! Jack is a technobiologist, combining his interests in marine biology, technology development, photography, and video.
Jack started photography with a GoPro strapped to his chest and a cell phone shakily held up to the ocular of a microscope during a field biology course at the Univeristy of Washington’s Friday Harbor Laboratories. That summer he met many people from around the world including his friend Andrea. She had a DSLR camera and takes amazing images — her work and that summer inspired Jack to get a bigger camera and take more photographs of the world around him.
